Welcome to the Knights of St Andrew of Greensboro!The Order of the Knights of St. Andrew is an active service organization comprised of 32° Scottish Rite Masons of the Valley of Greensboro, in the Orient of North Carolina, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry USA, Southern Jurisdiction. We are under the immediate supervision of the S.G.I.G’s Personal Representative and Secretary of the Scottish Rite Bodies in the Valley of Greensboro and provide support and services where they are needed. For example, escorting and directing candidates and visitors, providing escort services for dignitaries or for special events, Reunions or other functions, serving as guides, assisting in Scottish Rite Degree work, participating in parades or civic activities, promoting fund-raising events, aid in any special event as well as a host of other a opportunities to serve. We are the working service arm of the Valley and our members must be eager, active, hard working and promote the philosophy, honor and dignity of the Scottish Rite. We in the Knights of St. Andrew consider it a privilege and an honor to serve the Scottish Rite Bodies in the Valley of Greensboro with its rich history and noble heritage. As an organization we work hard to promote the principle tenets of Freemasonry which are Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth. As exemplified in the Scottish Rite 29th degree, we are taught the great virtues of knighthood: humility; patience; self denial; charity; generosity; clemency; virtue; truth, and, honor. |
